11th July 2008 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: stupid Wind Stength: rubbish Surf / Sea State: boring Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: Weather: Crap Max Speed: Distance Covered: I fought my way back from work in good time. A stiff headwind and still I beat the hour (19mph). 5mins before I got home, the heavens opened and I got totally soaked in less than 5 mins. Torrential. It cleared, I rang Denise at work, she said the Jewsons flag was flapping optimistically in the breeze, and the sun came out too. So to Brog I go. I rig the 7.5 as it looks quite blustery. No. It's crap, I plane once or twice and carve a couple of gybes, and it starts to chuck it down again. Sod it. |
